01 · MAP VETO

You choose the ground.

Once both captains are ready, the veto opens. Teams take turns removing maps until the series is decided — and the team that did not pick a map chooses which side it starts on.

  • 30 seconds a turn — an unanswered turn is taken for you
  • The pool is set by the organizer, so it can be five maps or nine
  • Every ban and pick is logged and public
BOMB SITE · ANATOMY Attack Retake
C4A

Two ways in, three ways back. That asymmetry is the whole game mode: the attack arrives together, the retake arrives from everywhere.

02 · ROLES

Eight jobs, not five players.

Each side has its own roles, and your role decides three things: which gun you can afford, how much utility you get, and where you spawn. Pick them before the match — anybody without one plays as the generalist for their side.

Sides swap at halftime, so everybody carries one role on each. Roles marked ONE are limited to a single player per team.

Roamer

Carries the most utility on the team and gets the first defuse kit, paying for both with a slightly worse gun when the round is poor. Free to take a spawn away from the pack — which is what makes a roam a roam.

Three rungs, and you climb or fall every round.

There is no money in Blitz. A side has a tier — one number, 1 to 3 — and the tier is a fixed list of what you get. Win a round and you go up one. Lose and you go down one.

  1. Tier 1

    Low

The bottom of the gun list, and almost nothing to throw. Still a real buy — nobody starts a round already beaten — but you are winning it with aim, not with utility.

  2. Tier 2

    Mid

The only tier you can arrive at from either direction, and the direction is the whole of its character.

    • Climbed here by winning: the guns are your reward, and you pay for them in utility.
    • Fell here by losing: a rung down the gun list, and the utility to claw back with.
  3. Tier 3

    High

The best weapon your role can hold and the most it can carry, with helmets and a defuse kit for everyone. As good as a round gets.

  • A win climbs one rung
  • A loss drops one
  • The pistol round's winner starts on Mid, its loser on Low
  • Every overtime round is played on High
03 · HOW A MATCH RUNS

From bracket to result.

Your match page exists from the moment the bracket is drawn, so there is always somewhere to go and something to see. Nothing here needs an admin standing over it.

04 · FORMATS

The bracket fits the event.

The organizer picks the shape, the series length, and how teams are seeded. Everything stays editable right up until the start button is pressed, and the bracket adapts to however many teams actually turned up.

Single elimination

Lose once and you are out. The shortest format, and the one that fits an evening.

  • Byes go to the top seeds
  • Any team count, not just powers of two
